We're on a mission to make scheduling human again.

Shiftly was built by operators who felt the pain of broken scheduling firsthand — and decided to fix it for good.

How Shiftly started

In 2021, our founders were managing a 40-person retail operation using a patchwork of spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups, and sticky notes. Every week, someone didn't show up. Every month, overtime costs blew the budget. Every quarter, a manager burned out. They spent weeks searching for a scheduling tool that was powerful enough for real operational complexity but simple enough for a busy floor manager to use on their phone. Nothing fit. So they built Shiftly. Today, Shiftly serves over 14,000 teams across retail, hospitality, healthcare, and logistics — and we're just getting started.

Primary narrative

Our mission

We believe that a well-scheduled team is a happier, higher-performing team. Every feature we ship is filtered through one question: does this give managers their time back and give employees more clarity? If yes, it ships. If not, it doesn't.
